Milton Keynes-Centre
Popped to the sales at the beginning of the year so a certain person could spend her Christmas money!!
Of course the inevitable happened and a trip to the loo was required!
Nice and clean and even had bottles - well done MK!!

The Management Suite - Cambridge Street Retail Park Aylesbury
I
Well my phone is filling up with loos - what people would think if they found and viewed my phone!!
The accessible loos in the shops (such as Hobbycraft and Wicks) on this retail park have been taken out, however in between Frankie and Bennys and Subways there is a managent suite which is open when the shops are open and on the first floor are the loos.
I have always been amazed by how many loos I visit insist on filling up the transfer space with the bins.
Rant of the day: REMEMBER THEY ARE CALLED ACCESSIBLE FOR A REASON

Chilterns Crematorium
You can be assured
Sadly I had the reason to go to Chilterns Crematorium recently.
I won't say much apart from the need to visit and the nature of the occasion is by no means an easy one, but I have to say that it's difficulty is NOT added to by having to cope with less than ideal facilities.
They were clean and bright and for me a vertical grab rail is essential.

The Shard

http://www.the-shard.com/
He said to me:
68 floors up the Shard.
Not a bad view eh?Very clean, big wide door that opens both ways and plenty of room. The tour staff are also excellent the whole way through.

Our Jubilee Sailing Trust Adventure
Our family adventure started on the 29th June when we travelled to Southampton to board Tenacious a Tall Ship belonging to The Jubilee Sailing Trust..
My First stop however was a loo in Sainsbury at Gosport.
After a quick bite to eat it was time to make our way to the port itself. Tenacious is a ship that has been built by people of mixed abilities and enables the crew also to be made up of people with mixed abilities.

A quick plug:
The Jubilee Sailing Trust (JST) is a registered charity whose mission is to promote the integration of people of all physical abilities through the challenge and adventure of tall ship sailing aboard two very special ships, Lord Nelson and Tenacious.
Now to the ship herself!
These facilities were the ones below deck and are known as 'heads' and included a shower. In fact we were lucky as they were right opposite our bunk. There are freshwater, saltwater 'heads' and clos-o-mats. If you have never come across one of these before check out their website.
Harligen, Freisland
We arrived in Harlingen on Thursday ready for the Tall Ships Festival. On the Friday we went ashore where of course I was able to not only explore Harligen but their loos as well!
This was my first experience of a Dutch accessible loo. Although my picture doesn't really show it it was in a massive space. What I thought was a great idea was the emergency pull cord which went around all the walls - ideal if you fall.
Campanile - Zwolle
A large space and one that I would highly recommend - well done Campanile!!
We were now nearing the end of our journey, one more train trip and we would arrive in Amsterdam. So what were the loos like there?
The first was at the train station. We had to get the key from the attendant and then off we went down the platform to find it! As with many of the Dutch loos, it was clean, bright and in a large space.
We took a canal trip and with the help of the captain, Dave and Shannon I got into the boat and safely sat down!
Before getting back on the train to Schipol airport we had a quick look round a shopping centre (it seemed rude not to)! Of course it was time to use the loo.
Airport
One last loo stop before getting on the plane. As often is the case when it is a combined baby changing room and loo it can get over run with nappies!!
Luton Airport
What a lot of loos!
THE END
